cakes equinox spices sweet

Ingredients

• Plain flour
• Baking soda+powder
• Cinnamon
• clove
• nutmeg
• 2 eggs
• Vanilla
• brown sugar
• vegetable oil
• honey
• orange juice
• splash whiskey
• black tea
• mixed nuts

Method

• Combine flour, baking powder/soda and spices
• Combine eggs, vanilla, sugar, oil and honey
• Add orange juice, whiskey, coffee and beat again
• Combine solids and liquids
• Pour into tins. Sprinkle nuts on top
• Bake for 40 min or so

Serve with whipped cream
