Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Cup of milk
- Cup of grated cheese
- Some copped chives
- Two rashers of chopped fried bacon
Method
Prepare the potatoes
- Peel and par-boil the potatoes
- Drain and then slice into medium size wedges. Put to one side.
Prepare a cheese sauce
- Gently heat the butter in a saucepan.
- When it has melted, gradually stir in a cup of milk.
- Stir in the cheese.
- If it is too thick, add some water and don’t over cook.
- Add chives and bacon.
Combine
- Combine potato and sauce. Cook moderate 35-45 min.
