Notes
Vegan option: replace sour cream with vegan alternative.
Woolies brand Worcestershire sauce is vegan.
Serve with mash or roast veg.
Ingredients
- 1 brown onion
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 large field mushrooms, or equivalent
- 1 cup veg stock
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tub sour cream
- small bunch of curly parsley (optional)
Method
- Soften onion for about 5 min. Once browning, add paprika and garlic.
Cook for 1 min. Add the mushrooms and cook on high heat for 5 min.
- Add stock and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to the boil for 5 min
until the sauce thickens. Take off the heat and stir through sour
cream.
