Ingredients
- 150g flour
- 200 ml warm water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp yeast
Method
- Combine flour, water and salt. Add (activated) yeast, sugar, and
baking powder. Cover and rest in warm place until volume increases and
surface is foamy.
- Cook in butter in a pan with crumpet rings. Don’t over fill the
rings, and use a low heat. Flip after bubbles appear.
