Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 onions, sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 teaspoon sea salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 kilogram ripe tomatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 small apples (150g), peeled and diced (we used granny smiths)
- 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (55g) sultanas
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3/4 cup (185ml) cider vinegar
- 2 small bay leaves
